Jeanne GATINEAU

A few dates:

1932:
Jeanne GATINEAU – a physical therapist, beautician and pedicurist – creates the brand.
She opens her first beauty salon in Paris.
Working in close collaboration with physicians and dermatologists, she develops her first beauty products, some of which continue to be sold today.

1950:
She starts the Jeanne GATINEAU School of Beauty, providing training to thousands of beauticians.

1979:
Jeanne GATINEAU is bought out by the Revlon Group.

1994:
Jeanne GATINEAU becomes GATINEAU.

2002:
The brand gets a "facelift", with:
